How to Use Focus Audio Safely and Sensibly

By Mark Ellis

Focus audio is low-risk for most people, but a few common-sense rules apply.

Protect your hearing

Never while driving

Don't use relaxation or brainwave audio while driving, operating machinery, or in any situation that needs your full attention.

Who should check first

If you have epilepsy or a seizure disorder, a heart condition, a hearing condition, or are being treated for any mental health condition, talk to a healthcare professional before using brainwave audio. Audio is not a substitute for treatment.

Keep expectations realistic

Think of focus audio as one small part of a good environment, alongside sleep, breaks, and fewer distractions, not as a shortcut.
